Global business summit was organised as a result of successful negotiations between Australia and India and signing of Australia and India Economic Cooperation Trade Agreement.
The event was attended by dignitaries such as Francis Listen (Chief Negotiator AIECTA), Ted Beluke (Former Premier of Victoria), Ashoke Mysore (CEO Infosys Australia), Lisa Singh (Director Australia-India Institute), Abhay Mehta (Confederation of Indian Industries), T D Saxena (Chairman—Confederation of Indian Industries), Mother Gupta (accomplished businessman of Hari metals and many more businesses, industry partners, and members of the community.
The event was also well attended globally on Zoom with over 1000 registrations from people who are interested in doing trade with Australia.Jito Australia plans to host a global business summit in 2025 and aims to invite 500 businesses from India and 1000 businesses from Australia in an effort to increase bilateral trade between two countries and focus on pre engagement and post engagement where real partnerships, synergies, MOUs, and trade will emerge.
